Before meeting Jean, my main concern is about having a Will and LPA.

However through the stages of planning with Jean, it was a positive and learning experience for me. Before that I didn’t know what estate planning is all about. Jean went through the process of estate planning with me from beginning to end. I found out that I do have some assets to leave behind to my son, in the event I pass on. Different scenarios were taken into consideration, including total failure and how my assets will be distributed to my beneficiaries. Estate planning is necessary even before writing and signing a will.

I have peace of mind that my son would have the necessary documents for him execute the affairs of my estate. In case I’m incapacitated and can no longer make decisions about my own welfare and finances, my son as donee in my LPA would have authority to act on my behalf.

Keep up the great work. I like the Box of Wishes. It’s a very helpful tool/reference for my loved ones to refer to in the event I pass away.

Jean was patient and helpful in answering all my questions. She put together my insurance policies, property information and how these add up to my assets.
