Coming from a humble family, Alex grew up and spent his childhood days in Malaysia. After completing his secondary school education, he moved to Singapore to further his studies. In 2006, he graduated with a diploma in Business Management.
As a strong believer in continuous learning and personal development, Alex equipped himself with financial knowledge after graduation. In 2008 during the global financial crisis, Alex took the courageous step to embark on his financial advisory career. It was a challenging time to start his practice, but it was also a test of his passion and belief in the importance of comprehensive financial planning. Journeying with his clients through difficult circumstances, Alex persevered and continued to attain the Certified Associate Estate Planning Practitioner (AEPP®) in 2015.
As Alex grew in his career, he noticed an obvious gap in the industry: clients’ estates were often left unplanned and unorganized without a proper setup for distribution. He recognised how vital this missing piece was, especially since he had personally witnessed his family struggle from a lack of proper wealth planning and distribution after his grandparents’ passing.
It was this compelling reason that led Alex to his next chapter. Making the deliberate decision to join Highlife Advisory Pte Ltd in 2019, Alex now specialises in Estate Planning. He views his migration to Highlife as a way to further his commitment to helping individuals create a more harmonious asset distribution through Highlife’s unique mechanism – Box of Wishes®.
His goal is to give his clients the ultimate peace of mind, helping them retire and move on happily. Alex has since evolved and has become a trusted family adviser to his clients and friends.
